Hide one particular item on TOC (Related posts)

  • I have a Related Posts plugin installed which automatically adds related posts to the bottom of each post. Unfortunately, the TOC is picking up on the related posts header and so it is appearing as part of the TOC.

    For example:
    1 First item
    2 Second item
    3 Third item
    3.1 Related Posts

    I have tried several different related post plugins, but I haven’t found one that works without it appearing in the TOC.

    Is there a way to prevent an item from appearing in the TOC?

    Hi there,

    I ran into the same situation and I got it fixed.

    In TOC+ plugin dashboard, you open Advanced section and find to Exclude headings and fill to Related*. Click Save and you are done.
