Hide menu item granting access to its content

    Hi,

    I wish to hide the ‘widgets’ item from the admin menu, but if I remove it, the widgets panel inside the theme customizer will not show up anymore.
    I wish to let the user to customize the sidebar using the theme customizer, But I want hide the widgets menu item.

    Is there any way to do this?

    I can’t seem to reproduce that result – if I hide the “Widgets” item, the corresponding customizer panel stays visible. How exactly did you hide the item? For example, did you change the required capability, did you use the puzzle-piece toolbar button, or some other way?

    Hi janis, sorry for the mistake!
    Widgets appears correctly into the theme customizer.
