Hide menu item by default

    Hi Jeff, thanks for creating this plugin!

    I was wondering if you might consider enabling the “Hide this plugin’s menu item” by default?

    If not, what is the best way for me to do this on my sites? Is there a filter or quick update_option() script you recommend to set it?

    Hi Phil, glad to help. I think it would be confusing to most users if the plugin menu item were hidden. So probably will leave the default for that setting to “not hide”.

    For programmatically changing the option, you would want to look at the hide-menu setting, located within the disable_gutenberg_options should get you there.
