    Hey

I love your Plugin, but it disabled some functions of other plugins, like “Hide this and that Menu for logged-in/logged-out Users”

I really need this option, because I have some Pages only for Members, tried different restriction Plugins with this function, but they always have compatible issues with your plugin.

Can you do something about this?

    Hey there,

Do these plugins work with custom walkers?

My plugin uses a custom walker attached to the wp_nav_menu() call to build out the menu so if these plugins aren’t compatible with this then they won’t have the affect you are after. How do these plugins hide the menu items?

I expect you can build this functionality very easily yourself using the built in nav menu filter options however.

Can you let me know what plugin you are trying to use so I can install it on my dev site and see what you are trying to do here because at the moment I don’t have anything to look at or go on.

Also, are you talking about it not working for the responsive menu or for all menus on your site? My menu can’t disable other functions of other plugins as it has no access to them or their settings.

    Please let me know

    Peter

    Hey Peter

    Thanks for the quick response.

The website that you can check:
    https://www.hack4work.com/wordpress/
(currently working on the menus, so it might change every 5 mins, but you can see the extra menus in the tablet resolution)

1: It worked before your plugin, but not working with your responsive plugin. It still works but only, if your plugin is not triggered. For example in Desktop mode, the Menu is hidden, but in your Mobile menu, it is visible (for logged-in users, for logged-out users, for admins, so everyone can see it)

2: I use Max Mega Menu for the Desktop Menu and Secondary Menu, and tried some other hide/show plugins, but none of them work. These are: “Nav Menu Roles”, “If Menu” and “Hide/Unhide Menu for Guest/Member”
Maybe they are not compatibe wit MaxMM, but MMM has this role hide/show option as well.

3: I am not that of a Website Wizard, know only the basics with Jquerry and Walkers and so… you lost me there ??

    Thanks for your help!

    Hey there,

It sounds like they are not compatible with WordPress Walker classes unfortunately then.

I will try a few of them but I am not hopeful that they will work based on what you’ve said and I don’t really see any way around it.

I do have an FAQ on building different menus for logged in and logged out users below but I don’t think that sounds like the route you want to take?

    All the best

    Hey there,

Did you ever find a solution for this.

I can’t find a way to do it the way you are trying.
