Hide login page has confusing settings

I am confused by the settings on this page… =hlp_hide_login-wbcr_clearfy
I do not want to hide the login page, I just want to hide wp-admin. But when I switch “Hide wp login” on, the “New Login Page” field appears.
Do I have to change the login page address if I want to hide the wp-admin directory for unauthorised users?
