Hide Login Not Working

    Hello, I’m setting up a new BuddyBoss Platform based social network. I’d like to use BWPS to add a layer of security. One feature I want is to hide my backend/login. But, when I activate on my site it doesn’t work. Some of the other features were acting buggy. I was unable to add and save banned IP’s, but I was able to block IPs with the Firewall Rules.

    I currently do not have the plugin activated and I’m exploring other options. But overall I was very satisfied with BWPS and would like to become a customer.

    BuddyBoss has developed a new hosting platform specific to BuddyBoss networks. I have the strong suspicion that there is a conflict with the server configuration having to do with rewrites and redirects.

    Can you help direct my on how to determine the cause of my Hide the backend issues? Specifically, it didn’t create the alternate login location I entered.

    Hi @thorstone137, please excuse the delayed response!

    I was able to grab ahold of the BuddyBoss platform plugin and installed it on my end, however, I could not replicate the issue with adding/saving entries in the Banned IPs card. Please see this quick?demo. Although, I must say that I only installed the BuddyBoss platform during this test.?

    Can you please confirm if you’re using the same BuddyBoss platform I installed? If so, can you let me know the settings you’ve configured on your BuddyBoss platform that will help me replicate the issue? If you’re comfortable with it, you can also reach out to our support channel so we can check and try to replicate the issue further.
