Hi guys, you should hide ip address from table cause it’s not legal by default in some countries. Could you do that and make an flaggable option to do inverse option?

Thanks for acknowledge that. We will consider related integration in future plugin enhancement.

Same here. This is important to be editable and should be an option to disable it.

Thanks, for using our plugin. We have taken into consideration related to the EU upcoming privacy policy requirements and for that, we have given provision for the user to restrict the IP address storage to the database.

You can find the changes done in the latest updated version v1.4.0

We have also provided the steps to restrict the IP storage.

Hi, I’m trying to remove ip from the db saved from the for, it works, but, still regarding th enew GDPR law, that pretends that the acceptance of the privacy can be tracked the code added to the functions.php removes the new accept-this-1 field that is added with the new WP settings just for this necessity. so my question is , can you lookup why is this interfeering with the new acceptance accept-this-1 field?
    Thank you

    Hi @consilia,

Can you please update our plugin to 1.4.1 and check for your issue again.

Let us know if still the issue occurs.

Hi, the tests where done with the 1.4.1 version of the plugin, if I edit functions.php , then the ip is removed and thus not recorded in the database, but neither does the acceptance column, the one that should make traceable the consent of the user when compiling a contact form. That part is needed, can you please check again. If I remove the code to hide ip from functions.php, the the acceptance column is shouwn again, without an ip registered indeed as i should in the first place, but this way one should edit the code of functions.php everytime one needs to control consent column.

Thank you for hard work! and
    Best regards
