hide header, nav, & footer?

hi,
I’d like to reduce my blog to an extremely minimally designed page that I can embed selectively elsewhere. To do that, I want to hide the header, nav bar, and footer on my blog’s page. I can figure out how to edit the css code easy enough to style these elements, but I’m not familiar enough with PHP to figure out how to just hide these elements completely.
