Hide header menu.

    Hi I just updated the Hueman theme to version Version: 3.2.9 and since then the header menu is also visible.

    I want to hide the header menu but I am not able to look for the option. Earlier i was able to do it under “Theme Options” but that also gone after the update.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Go to Appearance > Customizer > Header > Header Menu

    Uncheck the box that says:
    “Use a default page menu if no menu has been assigned.”

    That would do the trick I suppose.

    Thanks for the reply but no option is visible under customizer, instead i am getter follow message displayed under customizer:

    “There are no widget areas currently rendered in the preview. Navigate in the preview to a template that makes use of a widget area in order to access its widgets here”.

    Clicking on ‘Customizer’ should give you the front end of your website and at your left hand a menu to change all kind of things (global settings, header, content, footer).

    When you don’t see that, I’m afraid I can’t help you. I don’t understand the message you get about the widgets.

    Perhaps someone else knows what to do?

    PS You could try to do the update again through your backoffice instead of using the FTP method. I’m not sure it makes any difference, but I believe it could.

    Hi @mnilesh,

    You are access the wrong part of Customizer.

    @plimfec is correct, it’s located at Appearance > Customizer > Header > Header Menu

    Just to make sure that there is no menu assigned to header.
    Please go to Appearance -> Menus and click on Manage Locations tab.
    Remove any menu that you do not need.

    Thanks for the response everyone, this issue is resolved. Though I am still not able to see the customizer in the appearance but the header menu is hidden now.
