    Hi,

Thanks for the amazing plugin that you have built!

We are running into an issue where the site automatically generates pages for months in the future. I was wondering if there is a way to restrict this to a year or so from the current date.

This is generating a lot of pages that are mostly blank.

    Thank you,

    Shardul

    Hi @shardulgaikwad

    Thanks for reaching out.

The page you provided is not technically a “real page” where you create and publish it from the WP dashboard.

Could I ask for more details on the issue you’re experiencing and what you’re trying to achieve? By any chance, is this related to SEO?

Hi @d0153 Thanks for the response. We are trying to reduce the number of pages on the site.

This is for SEO as well as a few other tools that charge based on the number of pages.

Let me know if there is a way that these auto generated pages can be set to drafts/hidden or not set to auto generate if no events are present.

    Thank you,

    Shardul

@shardulgaikwad The pages you’re referring to are not published from the WP dashboard. It is a dynamic page where the content depends on the parameters in the URL.

    Eg. https://www.mowglis.org/events/month/2027-06/,
“month” refers to the view of the calendar
“2027-06” refers to the scope of the calendar.

In short, the page will show the month view of the calendar for June 2027.

For SEO purposes, you can also block undesired/empty pages from being crawled by Google and other search engines by disallowing some paths on the?robots.txt?file.

@d0153 Thanks for the update. I will remove them from SEO. If there is a feature in the future that allows these pages to be hidden/removed, please let me know.

    Thanks!
