hide flat rate when free shipping is active

I need help. I set free shipping with a minimum order amount of € 50.00. But now I need to hide the flat rate when the customer reaches the minimum order amount, because it makes no sense to leave the possibility to choose between flat rate and free shipping. How can I fix this? Thanks for the help.
