Hide Featured Image in Post Only

I’ve searched everywhere for the answer to this, and through I have found solutions for other themes (none of which actually worked) I am trying to find how to hide the Featured Image in each Post in the Snapshot Theme.

To clarify, I run a record label site, each post is only an image with details of the individual record release, and I want this image to link to the iTunes store… so on the home page you see all the Image/Releases, and clicking on them goes to that individual post (though I wish it would go direct to the iTunes link, but not possible due to permalink) and once inside the post, you’ll see the small version of the clickable image below, but above that is a large, non-clickable copy of the image which I am assuming is the Featured image, and this is the one I want gone. It doesn’t make sense why it’s there in the first place as it’s just confusing and non-intuitive. Here is a link to the site to see what I mean:
