  • Hi,

This is a full calendar in the sidebar, not the upcoming widget, are you using a shortcode in the sidebar?

No, I’m using your Upcoming Events widget. Here’s a screenshot of my Primary Sidebar in Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets – https://preview.scmembrane.org/wp-content/uploads/screenshot.png.

Is that correct sidebar, I do not see “Featured Posts” on the frontend.

Yes it is the correct sidebar, Benjamin. The Featured Posts widget before the Upcoming Events (AIOEC) widget displays the association’s logo, mailing address, etc., directly above your Upcoming Events widget – which should not be showing on the Calendar page, but is. That’s the issue. See https://preview.scmembrane.org/wp-content/uploads/screenshot2.png.

As I already wrote, this is a full calendar in the sidebar, not the upcoming widget, it seems that there is a conflict, have you tried the troubleshooting guide? https://time.ly/document/user-guide/troubleshooting/first-troubleshooting-step/

Benjamin, you don’t seem understand what I’m saying. Your widget has a checkbox to control whether it is displayed on the Calendar page. I’ve checked that checkbox, yet the widget is STILL being displayed on the Calendar page. See https://preview.scmembrane.org/wp-content/uploads/screenshot.png – I’ve highlighted the setting that is not working.

I’ve also gone through the plugin conflict protocol and I have no conflicts – just this problem with the All-in-One Event Calendar plugin.

Here you can see how the “Upcoming Events” widget looks https://timelysupport.org/, as you can see there is no filter menu, views dropdown, etc. can you please contact us at [email protected] and we will continue there.

    Thanks,
    Ben

Benjamin, I’m not sure why you refuse to acknowledge that what I am saying and showing you is the truth – your “Hide this widget on calendar page” does not hide the widget. It’s as simple as that.

I’ve seen this for a couple of years now, and I’ve been able to hide it myself through CSS on the other 20+ websites I have installed Timely’s All-in-One Event Calendar. This time I decided to request an explanation of the plugin’s author.

I want to continue this here, on www.remarpro.com. Other developers will want to know about this shortcoming in the plugin.

    Hi,

I understand that option does not work on your site. I tested and everything is fine and you are the first user who reported this issue, but apart from that option does not work, it shows the full calendar in the sidebar, not the upcoming widget, so you have another issue. It looks like a conflict with your WP theme.
