• I have been asked by my current boss to not write ANYTHING about him, the company, etc. Not even good things, since even the good can be twisted into evil.

That being said, it’s not a Non-disclosure agreement or anything like that, just a polite request. I’m content to not ‘publish’ anything, though I’m still itching to write.

The boss is starting a political run for a major government post, thus this request.

My thing is, I blog about everything, and would like to keep doing so while things (commentary, ideas, etc) are fresh in my mind.

What I’m looking for is a way to enter blog entries now, mark as hidden (is this a feature??), and make these entries public at some point in the future after I have stopped working for this person or I want to fully exercise my freedom of speach.

I know I can make entries as drafts, but that fills up that section at the top of the write entry screen.

I know I can write password protected entries, but I’m afraid I’ll either forget the password or forget to check the box, and my tart remarks will become public before their time.

I’m looking for something quick, simple, and fairly idiot proof.

Any suggestions or tips would be welcomed (and may help others in similar situations).

  • How about tagging the posts as “Private”? — that way, you’re the only one who can see them. Then you can make them public when it’s safe. ??
