Hide empty fields

  • Love this plugin, but wondering if there is a way to automatically hide empty fields: if I allow link, title, phone, email, description for example, and there isn’t a phone entered, I don’t want to display an empty line, but want it to get rid of that whitespace – right now it adds a blank line for each field whether there is something in there or not.

    Being able to hide empty fields would make the display cleaner for link lists that might not have all fields filled in.

    The thing about automatically hiding all of these fields is that in cases where users have HTML in the before and after fields, such as TD tags for table cells or any other kind of layout specific tags, their layout could break if the plugin does not output them when that field is left empty.

    So I decided to go with a consistent output instead of the possibly cleaner output.

    That being said, I just added a new option in a version that will come otu later this evening (5.9.13.1) to be able to not output empty fields. The option is called ‘Do not output fields with no value’.

    Please confirm that this works as desired after updating.
