    Hello,

I have created custom fields that are only relevant for some of my products. On the individual product pages that don’t have input for the custom field, the empty field still takes up space.

It there a way to only have the custom field display if there is content? Or a way to limit it to only certain pages?

  • Hi kp,

You can make use of the “Hide Blank Custom Fields” setting in the “Premium” area of the “Options” tab

Sorry for my slow response. I have selected “yes” for “Hide Blank Custom Fields”. However, there are still blank spaces. Here is a link to an example – https://www.francescorinaldi.com/products/product/classic-alfredo-sauce/

    Hi KP,

I don’t see any empty custom fields on that page. Can you let us know what you’re referring to?

    Here is an image: https://www.francescorinaldi.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/screenshot.jpg

Image 2: Under “Original Recipe” The next 3 visuals are contained within 3 custom fields.
Image 1: This product does not have anything entered into the first 2 custom fields.

As you can see, there is just an empty space where the pictures would be in custom fields 1 & 2. I am looking to get rid of that space and have the empty custom fields display none. This way, custom field 3 will be directly underneath “Classic Alfredo Sauce”.

    Hi Kp,

It looks like you’re using the custom product page option. This layout uses set heights and widths based on what you create in the backend so there’s unfortunately no way to hide the whole custom field when it’s not populated.

In this case, I’d suggest switching the Product Page Type (in Options->Premium) to either “Tabbed Product Page” or the “Default” option to see if it works better with your current custom fields.
