• Hi support,

    Thanks for a good plugin!

I only have one small but annoying issue: Every time I hover over the email input field a browser tooltip shows.

This doesn’t happen with any other of my forms (I use 3 other form and subscription plugins).

Why does it happen with the Optinforms plugin and is there a way to hide/disable it?

I don’t wanna use scripts etc. and you can’t remove it with css.

    Hi @mindflow101

The “please fill out this field” tooltip?

Since the inputs are required (can’t be left blank), the browser shows that tooltip by default, it’s not part of the plugin itself.

The only approach would be to remove the “required” attribute on the inputs. JavaScript code would be the easiest approach for that, are you sure you don’t want that?

    Hi WPKube,

    Thanks for your reply.

I was curious as to why the browser tooltip shows up with your plugin and not any other form plugin I use for subscription purposes.

And yes, I absolutely don’t want that unsolicited browser tooltip! The form clearly indicates it’s a required field.

Using javaScript or other coding is overkill.

However, I unfortunately have to drop using your plugin due to severe vulnerability warnings regarding OptinForms issued by the Wordfence research team.

This warning is now several month old. Please check it out and fix the mentioned issues to ensure safe use of your otherwise good and simple plugin.
