Hide Date and Author not working !

  • Hello,
    I am using a child theme of sydney. I tried alot to hide date and author from the posts but nothing working, even plugins.
    Even if i try to add something to child theme editor on wordpress it’s not working. (PS child theme is activated)

    I don\t know what’s wrong on my blog, does anyone has any suggestions ?
