Would love a shortcode that lets me hide content unless current user hashes = a certain amount (or total hashes ever?).

Something like [monerohide newhashes=500]content[/monerohide] would be awesome. I’d pay for it in a pro version of the plugin.

Yes that’s a good idea. It give the users on your site an incentive/reward for mining. I will implement that.

A pro version is also on my mind. I am currently investigating whether I should use one time payments or a subscription model. I am also thinking about how the premium code could be protected by encrypting/obfuscating it.

    I have released v 2.2.0.

Use the following shortcode to create a protected area that only users with more than a specified amount of tokens can see:

    [wp-monero-miner-protected-area tokens=2000000] Secret content. [/wp-monero-miner-protected-area]

Note that it’s ‘pro’ feature for now.

Hi, I like the plugin ??

    What is a token?
I only want to specific the amount of hashes that the user needs to see the hidden content…
With a token is much time to wait until to see the content… Specific hashes is better…

Admin, I dont like the idea of one time payment, or subscription…

Youre winning the 10-17.5% of the total earnings… That pays the plugin…

If you want to use the payments to use the plugin, then disable the donations to author…

I think that the plugin pay itself Admin…

    Thanks to create it

    In the external redirect…
Can you add the capability to edit the text “PROOF OF WORK REQUIRED – REDIRECTING SHORTLY” thanks…?

I think you misunderstand how the plugin works. There are no one time payments to me and no subscription. I just get a percentage of the hashes when your users mine.

“Youre winning the 10-17.5% of the total earnings… That pays the plugin…”
This is correct and this is meant by the term “donations”.

    What are tokens?
Let’s assume a user generates 100 hashes on your site. Then depending on your version settings (basic/pro) about 85 hashes go to you and 15 to the developer. The 85 hashes are called tokens.
This is done because the plugin installed on your website can only use your secret key and as such only “see” the hashes that were assigned to your coinhive account. It can only withdraw hashes for users at your coinhive account and not the developer coinhive account.

If it helps, I can change the display in the miner widget so that instead of like 50 hashes/s there is shown 42.5 tokens/s. And also when showing the balance/total hashes of a user I could change the wording to “tokens”. This would not confuse users. Would that be a solution for you?

For changing the text “PROOF OF WORK REQUIRED…” try Loco Translate. If that does not work for you, try plugin settings > templates.

    I Understand. Thanks…
I see that the hidden content require an user registered in Coinhive to see the info…
Can you add the function in the hidden content to the user no need to be registered in Coinhive…
Something that show the bar loading the hashes needed to see the hidden content…
    That will be better…

Just for clarification: You as site owner need an account at coinhive.com. The users that mine tokens on your site only need to create an account on your blog/website.

If I understand you correctly you want that a user can show hidden content by mining some amount without registering with your site first. And show a loading bar until he has the required amount. Is that right?

    Ok…. I understand… Yes, you′re right…

    Yes, I want that…

    Thanks for your super support…
