    Hi,

is it possible, to hide the contact form in the listing, when an entry has no mail address?

The problem is, that the message is sent to the admin. It would be better to hide the form in this case and that the user has to make a phone call instead of sending a message.

I only found the possibility to display or not display the form, and no info in the documentation…

    Regards
    Claudia

    Hi @claudiaiw

Thank you for getting in touch with your question.

The email field is required by default, but if you have turned that setting off, we currently don’t have a way to override this for the contact form. I’ll make the suggestion to the developer, though.

The reason we suggest that an email address be required is because notices need to be sent to listing owners about the listing itself, such as when it will expire or renew.

I’m sorry I couldn’t give you a workaround for this. Please let me know if you have further questions.

    Okay, thanks for the answer.

Maybe you have a snippet to check whether the email field is empty?
Then I could automatically add a body class to hide the form by css…

Otherwise I just had the idea to simply use a tag “hideform” and address this in css.

    Hi?@claudiaiw

Thank you for being so patient on this while I was checking with the developer. We don’t have a snippet you can use for this, but I’ve submitted a feature request to address this in an upcoming release. Thanks so much for bringing the issue to our attention!
