Hide competitors on the map

My client is a dentist. They just want a basic google map on their website so I have installed this plugin and entered the business name and address. Voila. It works perfectly ?? Thanks.

However there is a problem… it shows all the other dentist in the visible area. My client reasonably does not want their competitors to show on their location map as customers might then be led to choose another clinic.

A quick google shows that it is possible to disable POI’s an thus remove the competitors. However I don’t see any options to actually do this in the plugin and I would rather not hack the source code.

Can you please make this update to the plugin as I’m sure my client isn’t the only one with this requirement?
