Hide "Cart" unless items are added.

I recently implemented this theme: https://www.kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=replete

I have it setup and ready to go, just my boss prefers that the ‘cart’ to the right on the navigation menu be hidden unless someone actually adds product into the cart… any clue on how i may be able to do this? Thanks!
