Hide Capability

  • Hi. I’m using this plugin with BuddyPress on a multisite and it’s working great. But I want to make the “Profile Search” disappear from the Admin Menu when using the Admin Role (I’m Super Admin).

    I tried the plugin “User Role Editor” and unchecked all the options for Profile Search Form. But it still shows up for the Admin in the Admin Panel. Then I tried using the plugin Adminimize, blocked access to 3 places that comes up for Profile Search… still, it does nothing.

    How can I hide the Profile Search in the Admin panel?

    Hi schmickler83,

    Unfortunately I don’t know how the WP admin menu works internally, and I don’t have an answer to your question.

    Anyway if you find out how to make BP Profile Search compatible with User Role Editor or Adminimize, I’ll be glad to do that.
