Hide CAN-SPAM from subscription mail

  • Hey guys,

    This is my current CAN-SPAM text: “If you no longer wish to receive our email Newsletter you may unsubscribe at anytime by clicking on the ‘Unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of this email.” The problem is, this text is also showing at the bottom of a subscription confirmation mail and there is, logically, no Unsubscribe button. Any way to hide it from the confirmation mail only?

    Also, any chance to hide the ‘Manage subscription’ button from all my mails?

    The reason you are getting that message in the confirmation email is because the confirmation email uses the default template. The default template uses the can spam text. So if you put that information in the default template, you will see that in the confirmation email as well.

    As your second question about removing the manage subscription link from the email, this will be possible when we release our templates feature, which is coming up very soon. This should also let you have some different settings for your can spam/email confirmation text versus your newsletter template.
