Hide blocks from other plugins, and don’t add blocks
-
I’m interested in using this plugin for one reason – I am setting up a site that has people with lower roles writing their own content, and I want to restrict what blocks they can access.
a) Blocks that have been added via ACF or other plugins (eg Gravity Forms) do not show up in the PublishPress Block settings, so I am unable to prevent access to them. I don’t want to give contributors the ability to insert a contact form, or elements that weren’t intended for posts, which was one of my main goals. Does this plugin not offer this functionality after all?
b) Since I am solely interested in reducing the number of blocks, it’s rather unfortunate that installing this plugins adds a huge number of extra ones. I now have to go through the higher level roles (Administrator / Editor) and disable every one this plugin added. It would be nice to separate these features, or have a way of turning off all PublishPress blocks in bulk.
