Hide Backend 404 Error

  • Hi,

    If I try to navigate to my Hide Backend URL ( not real URL – https://www.mysite.com/hiddenbackend/mybackend – WordPress installed in a subdirectory hidebackend) I receive a 404 error.

    If I disable the hide backend option (advanced settings) then I am permitted to login to the WordPress admin (www.mysite.com/hiddenbackend/wp-admin) the same is true if I disabled the plugin.

    It would appear that the hide backend functionality is not redirecting the URL above, my error logs show nothing of significance and I am running on a Plesk server with proxy mode Nginx providing static resources.

    Can anyone help me determine the cause?
