Hide Author and date details while sharing

  • Hi,

    I have started my own blog with socially viral theme. Site is in yet nascent stage.. I am using cresta social share plug in for social sharing buttons. I have hid author, date details in the blog posts, but while sharing the posts on facebook and other platforms I can see author and date details.

    Please help me to hide the details while sharing.

  • You can use plugin Yoast SEO to add metadata in header of page, when you share to Facebook, Facebook will use Metadata in header instead using default text !

    I have installed yoast SEO and added open graph meta tags to my theme functionalities.
    Does yoast SEO has social sharing buttons to display at the end of every post? if so, where can i configure it?
    or Shall I use other plugin for buttons? (If I use other plugin, meta tags are not reflecting)
