Hide adminbar

  • I have “Hide Adminbar” ticked but when users login they still see the bar at the top that allows them to get to the dashboard and their profile and a bunch of default WordPress items like “Activity, Latest from WPBeginner Site Stats WordPress News”

    The users level is Subscriber.

    Is there a way to keep them from seeing this bar?

    Hi Scott can you carry out a test. Can you test one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Fifteen or Fourteen? I just want to make sure it is not your theme causing this issue.

    If you enabled the hide admin bar option in the settings then it shouldn’t show it. Do you maybe have another plugin that is overriding that admin bar showing option?
