Hide additional fees line item

    SOS – we add 6.5% to all bookings, however we do not want it to show on the checkout page, we just want it automatically added, without the line item visible. It’s ok that the original price shows when you’re adding the items to the cart, but the Total Price at checkout should be with the 6.5%, without any comments/details. Does anyone know if this is possible?

    I wasn’t able to see the 6.5% line item without filling in a lot of information. However, why not just add 6.5% to the booking product cost?

    Hello and thanks for checking it out! The business owner wants the tour cost (without the added fee) visible across the website, but wants the fee to only be added to the tour costs at the final checkout step, without any explanation. like he has in the current “Reserve Online” form – but there are other issues with that system that he wants to move away from.

    From a customer perspective, this is a pretty terrible practice. It may also be illegal in certain countries such as Germany.

    You could look at something like this that would add a fee at checkout:

    Thanks, we have that plugin, however it doesn’t not allow hiding the line item yet still adding the fee, its either enable or disable. ??
