Hidden WP-Admin URL breaks ticket URLS

  • Hello,

    With iThemes security installed the hidden admin breaks the links to all tickets that reference the WP Dashboard as wp-admin is no longer a valid URL.

    At the moment I’ve just updated the links in the emails to hardcode a reference to the hidden URL instead.

    I’ve read your source code and you’re correctly referencing admin_url() in the $url_private in the email notifications class. I’m not sure if this is something that iThemes security should fix or something that should be tested for?

    Actually,

    Hardcoding the URLs doesn’t help.

    That’s a very good question here. Awesome Support uses admin_url() everywhere it’s needed so it’s basically WordPress telling us what the URL is. I don’t know how iThemes Security handles that but I’ll definitely try it for myself and see if there is something we need to change on our end.
