Hidden replies in forum

    I run the website for a small local society (www.growchiswick.org). It has a members’ only area with a discussion forum, which I created using 2 plugins: bbpress and Simple WP Membership (so that only members of the society can see the members’ only section). We’ve had our first discussion start this week but the first reply is “hidden”. I don’t understand why. I originally assumed that it was something to do with moderation but there’s nothing for me to moderate and I can’t find a way of unhiding it.

    I tried posting a reply myself and that shows up without a problem.

    Any ideas please?
