• One problem I’ve had with Nested Pages on several WordPress sites I’ve created is that sometimes I cannot hide pages in the menu. On some sites I can, and in others, I can’t. I’m struggling with one where I’m hiding the page in Nested Pages and it’s still showing on my site. I’ve checked menus – no conflict there. I’ve updated and reinstalled the plugin – did not help. I checked for other plugins which might be interfering, but I found nothing. I tried yelling at it, and that didn’t work either.

What could be causing the problem? Here’s a link to my site in development (pardon the dust) on a temporary location on my server https://bit.ly/2DvPfOX.

    Thanks!

Still no answer? ?? This is happening on a lot of my sites.

I experienced this same issue, where hiding pages in menu did nothing. Sometimes knowing the intent of a “feature” is half the battle. Is it hiding in the main menu? The side menu? Both? Neither? WordPress has functions for: wp_nav_menu, wp_list_pages, wp_page_menu. Who knows?

I ended up having to use another plugin:
“Exclude Pages” by Author: Simon Wheatley

I have WordPress 4.9.5 and “Exclude Pages” worked, but only with an edit to the plugin, which I outlined in my review at the “Exclude Pages” plugin page.
