Hidden login page is comprimised
-
Hello!
I do not need user registration, so hided login page: mysite.com/xxx instead of mysite.com/wp-admin. Nevertheless I see up to 20 attempts to login to my site with “admin” (see it in log).
Today I decided to know how they found login page and found out that I left Meta widget, and it has link to login page. So I deleted this widget and changed path to mysite.com/yyy. Unfortunatelly after that there was another attempt to login with “admin”.
I use no caching. Even searched in source code of few pages for login page url — nothing found.
Do anyone have an idea how robots detect login url?
