“Hidden” items for sale for specific shoppers

    I was wondering if anyone can suggest a creative solution for the following issue we’re facing.

    Our site will generally sell items that all visitors can purchase. There will, however, be some items that have been ordered as custom/bespoke and we would like to make these available solely to that specific buyer. Is there a way that we can accomplish this?

    There’s this plugin that we use for hiding certain deals and steals from pro account holders. Works great.

    The only is is you can’t have just “customers” you’d have to have separate user accounts established in order to use this.

    Yep, @serafinnyc’s suggestion looks like it may work.

    You can also use this option:

    It will work with the roles you already have setup, but if you need to add new roles you can use a plugin like this one to setup the different roles.

    I’ve installed the plugin and will give it a whirl this afternoon.

    Thanks for your input too Zach – I’m going to have a look at your proposed solution too.
