Hidden Forums Not Visible to Custom Roles

    I had a long-standing private board on my website before I moved it over. The board had seen almost no traffic in a few years but it did have some nice old posts that I wanted to preserve. A certain number of my members were able to see this private board.

    Using the Members plug in I was able to create a custom role and assign it to a test member. That test member was able to see and access ‘Private’ boards, but not Hidden ones. I have enabled both read_hidden_forums and read_private_forums.

    I don’t want a private board to be visible to members who are not allowed in: that just sows dissension. I do want designated members to be able to see the hidden board. For whatever reason, read_hidden_forums appears to be having no effect.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
