Hidden Field: Use custom field from post?
-
Dear Forminator Team,
first: thanks for this awesome plugin!
Some context: I have a custom post type “offer” with a custom field “information” (created using pods framework). This field type “information” holds, obviously, information regarding to the offer. On each “offer” post type I have a simple form which allows users to signup for an offer.
Question / situation I want to solve: When an users signs up for an offer I would like to include the custom field “information” in the email response to the user, however I can only embed e.g. Post Page ID, Page Title or other meta data. Is there any way I can make forminator include some custom field value which I can specify into an form submission? “Custom Value” field sounds promising but this is only some static information.
Update: Just found this: https://wpmudev.com/forums/topic/forminator-pro-autofill-add-custom-field and it looks exactly what I want to achieve. Still, is there now a more user friendly solution available which does not require a custom plugin?
Thanks in advance!
