• I hid a section in my portfolio that had a medical article authored by me. I would prefer not to have it visible, but I do NOT want to erase the section. I just used the “Hide on desktop/tablet/mobile view” toggles, but now I can’t find it to even switch back on if I wanted to.

I have a backup version that is ok from July 29, but I’m afraid to restore it as I’ve never done that and don’t know how that would work with all the updates that have happened since then.

    Suggestions?

    Thank you!

@shailu25 thank you so much! I had forgotten how I hid it, I see now where to enable it again. However, when I try to toggle back to “show”, then preview changes, it still does not show up. I have removed the cache, but still nothing. It could just be my browser caching, although usually clearing the cache in WP fixes anything. I’ll try later, and report back if still nothing.

I really appreciate your help! ??

@shailu25 nevermind, I didn’t have the entire section enabled, so it’s all good now! Thank you again! ??

You can restore the article from your July 29 backup and then selectively update it with any changes made since, ensuring both versions coexist. This way, you can have the article back without erasing the section or losing recent updates.
