  • My plugin doesn’t yet support RSSITEM:IMAGE or FEEDITEM:CONTENT because it doesn’t use the media:encode format, it just adds the image using HTML/CSS to the top of the RSS:CONTENT_FULL portion.

    Try this plugin instead:

It has the Enclosure and Media tags, which I hope to implement soon as well.

Hey Rob, great plugin, just checking in on the enclosure and media tag implementation.

So this used to work with MailChimp’s RSS campaigns, and I used *|RSS:POSTS_HTML|*

It would pull from my Feedburner feed, where I had post summaries set up, and it would display the featured image fine.

That tag is no longer working properly, it will only pull up the full post now, without formatting of course, and then it will show the featured image.

If I use MailChimp’s *|FEEDITEM:CONTENT|* tag, it will pull the summary from Feedburner, but no featured image.

It sucks this used to work and now doesn’t….I’m not sure which piece changed to break it, but it would be great to have this back!

Ah, try using RSS:CONTENT_FULL? That’s what their default RSS Campaign templates use. The plugin doesn’t yet work with FEEDITEM:CONTENT or RSSITEM:IMAGE…

I’m still trying to work out how to best implement the enclosure and media tag codes without breaking things it does now.
