• So i’m setting up conversion tracking and need to add information into the data layer to come up (using tomi duracell’s plugin for google tag manager (only way i know) like transaction info. I also use elementor page builder to make the site. I need to insert this .php file from the plugin into the “opening body tag” but don’t know where to put it and don’t (can’t!) break the site by injecting it into the wrong place. Also, child themes slow down the site i heard. Any suggestions where to insert this without breaking the site? Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

Step 1 – Install and activate the OceanWP child theme
Step 2 – Copy the header.php file into the child theme
Step 3 – Add the code after the body tag as per your need in the header.php file.

Okay i’ll try that, also seperate topic: for some reason, the auto scroll to part of a page for one word in the menu doesn’t work exactly properly (all other menu items work with scrolling to part of the page using scroll IDs). This one item in the menu works for scrolls to part of the page it’s supposed to go in mobile and tablet, but does not work for desktop. Any way to fix this? (I use a Sticky menu that follows the scroll as well.)
