Sounds like we need to make a little custom CSS adjustment to give your drop down menu a higher level of display than the Hero. If you share a link to your site we could take a look.

We took a good look at this and unfortunately, can’t see where the problem is. The Hero widget has a much lower z-index than the drop-down menu so it should be displaying. Please, can you try contacting theme support for assistance. Hopefully, they can assist.
