• I’m trying to sort out how to get an image to resize with the screen width of a device. I’m using the Hero slider to do it.

I’ve seen a lot of posts on this issue, and they suggest a variety of solutions, from custom CSS to changing the height parameter, to inserting other widgets.

So far, I’ve had only a minor amount of luck getting the image to resize (by setting the height parameter to a really low value). But I still can’t really get it to resize properly.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hello Joel, thanks for choosing Bento! You’re using a non-responsive .svg image as the background, which does not scale easily. I recommend trying a transparent .png image instead – but please note, in any case, that the background of a Hero Slider resizes automatically with the screen of the viewing device, so on mobile screens it will have completely different aspect ratios than on desktop devices. This implies that using a background image to display vital textual graphics (that should not be cropped) can have unwanted consequences in any case. You might want to add it as a logo instead.

Ok, thanks. I’ll definitely rethink things a bit, then!
