• So I just created my page with the Hemingway theme. However, I cannot add any widgets to the sidebar. I go to the widgets but there aren’t any options to add any. Sometimes they show up under my Footer 1, but most of the time none of them show.

  • Have you made any progress here? I’m not sure I’m following your question though. If I understand correctly, you are trying to add widgets to the Sidebar that shows up on the right? Are you saying you can’t drag and drop any of the Available Widgets to the Theme Sidebar? The three Theme Footer sidebars display in 3 columns at the bottom of the page. The “Sidebar” sidebar displays to the right of the page. You can create custom sidebars for different pages and then when you edit the page you want the sidebar visible on, you replace the “Sidebar” sidebar with your customer one. I’m not sure I’m really helping you here.

Similar. I can’t figure out how to change the content that appears in the sidebar.

@stevenslaughter – I’ve been using this sidebar plugin with success.

Pay attention to the installation instructions. It took me a bit of fiddling but I use it to create sidebar menus for different pages. See Oakville Presbyterian Church
