    Hello,

I am looking to create a eCommerce website on which I will be selling services (rather than products). I will be designing banners (which will require customers to specify sizes, number of each sized banner, probably choose to upload their logos, images, etc. to be included in the banner and a few tick boxes to ensure I know what they really want). What will I need? Are product attributes enough of WooCommerce enough? What other plugin could make the process seamless for such a job?
    Something like this: https://bannersmall.com

Also, users should be able to be in contact with me (back and forth and easily) for any changes they want done for their designed materials, then they can download the file we have created for them.

Thank you very much in advance. I really appreciate this.

    Yours,
    Sia

    Howdy Sia,

You’ll probably need some customization to tightly integrate this workflow, but below are a few recommendations.

Add-on extensions like Product Add-Ons or the more flexible Gravity Forms Product Add-ons can help to collect the various bits of info you need, including file uploads. You’ll also be able to adjust your prices to a certain degree of flexibility.

Alternatively, Measurement Price Calculator is an extension that you can configure to quote based on measurement. However, Product Add-ons is listed in the Partially incompatible section of its docs, so you’d have to experiment to find the limitations.

Your last request could be met through CRM extensions like WooCommerce Freshdesk that connects to an external helpdesk service, but links your customers and their orders with related communications.

If you have more specific questions about these extensions, feel free to ask them via this sales form.

Thank you for your response. I looked at those plugins and all are great. Is there a cheaper alternative to WooCommerce Freshdesk? It’s really pricey for someone like me. And a one-time payment would be much more appropriate for me. Thanks

Subscription fees are one of those vital business expenses, and it ensures plugins are maintained, improved, and supported. Something to keep in mind while looking for a free alternative. That said, you can have a look at what the www.remarpro.com plugin repo has to offer. JetpackCRM, for instance, has a free starter plan, that you can expand on as your requirements grow.
