• Hey guys,

Im trying to put together a wordpress Site for my friend that is a real estate agent, and would love to use WordPress for the CMS. I tried the Great-Real-Estate Plugin and it worked very well but, I also wanted to try something a little more in depth, such as integrating the Open Realty System.

I downloaded latest plugin called WP-Realty which is suppose to integrate WordPress and Open Realty CMS , I installed the plugin in the plugin folder. I have Open Realty installed and running well with Mysql separately.

Every time I try to active the Plugin, my admin area and page becomes a bunch of gibberish “vBdsFeWsWsF”, non-stop. I cant “deactivate it” so I have to take the plugin out of the plugin folder to get my wordpress back to normal?

If anyone has experience with WP-Realty or May know whats causing this? Let me know , and Thanks for the help .

P.S – Im loving wordpress as a blog and CMS right now, and starting to learn to create my own templates , as well as edit and tweek others. Thanks for all the great work put into this system.

  • You need to install IonCube on your server. The installation varies from host to host, so you’ll need to contact your hosting provider for instructions.

ah, I read that it wasnt needed, Im developing it right now local using MAMP, and then would like to eventually upload using go-daddy possibly.

ah you need to purchase IONCUBE just to try out this plugin? That kinda sucks :/

No the Ioncube loader is free, the encoders are proprietary. For running ioncube encoded scripts you only need the loader.

    You can find them here.

Select your flavor and follow the installation instructions, you may need to contact your hosting provider for more detailed instructions.

It is now decrypted and new features added. I’ll get to those later.

Have you tried the “Great Real Estate” plugin?

    Also check out WordPress Realty

N.B. I have not tested any of these plugins.

I think this is already implemented. I know that when we built our Real Estate theme that we included many of the features a listing agent would want.

I’ll try and get some updates posted this weekend.

Its been fixed in the new release, please update

We bought the “Developer” version of wprealty over two weeks ago and are EXTREMELY unimpressed. Once you purchase it, you log in to their back end to download and must navigate through “my services” and instantly know what their icons mean in order to download the plugin. If you click on “Downloads”, that area is EMPTY. Kind of like the Knowledge Base. We have been trying to work with their “Guaranteed VIP Setup” for the last two weeks and still do not have a simple template tag working to display an index of listings on the main page of the website. It is absolutely pathetic. All of the info on their site is for SALES only, once you purchase, it doesn’t work and there is no way to help yourself get it up and running… they simply have ZERO documentation.

If you really did purchase a License then why haven’t you posted you problems in the forums there? Unlike Open-Realty forums your post will not get deleted or modified so why you chose to post this here is very suspicious – try putting up you complaints on their forums instead and see how its handled and then come back here and post us a link to it so we can see how they responded.
