The mentioned element is not allowed to appear in the context in which you’ve placed it; the other mentioned elements are the only ones that are both allowed there and can contain the element mentioned. This might mean that you need a containing element, or possibly that you’ve forgotten to close a previous element.
One possible cause for this message is that you have attempted to put a block-level element (such as “<p>” or “<table>”) inside an inline element (such as ““, “<span>”, or “<font>”).

It is showing the > after subtop highlighted as the problem

    <div id=”subtop”>writing for local people</div>

and what would the URL to the site be? There’s nothing wrong with that line. It’s gotta be something before it.

it didn’t say anything about the url. what page am i looking for? i am not bad with code so i will look to see everything is in the right place

doodlebee is asking for YOUR URL. How on earth can anyone help you with what you’ve provided?

please post your code at least before and after <div id=”subtop”>writing for local people</div>

maybe <div> inside <p>. so is not permitted.

    attached is the whole page

[Code Moderated: When pasting long code use https://wordpress.pastebin.ca and report the link here]

philslater please just give a link to your website because the code you posted, which I’ve edited out, produces different content.
