Help with WP to SMF Plugin
-
Hi, I have been trying to use the WordPress to SMF [Simple Machines Forum] bridge plugin but there appears to be an error in it that I can’t resolve and the developer isn’t responding to comments.
Here’s the problem:
When I create a new user in WordPress, a new user gets created in SMF, but it isn’t the same user.
An example: I register on WordPress as:
User: TEST
Pw: abcI can log into WordPress okay, but when I go to SMF it says “That username does not exist.”
When I look in the SMF database it has a new user but the new user is:
User: admin
I didn’t already have an admin user in the SMF database.
If I delete the user from WordPress then the “admin” user dissappears. If I try and log in with “admin” and pw: abc it does not work.
“admin” in this case is the first user registered in WP. So what appears to be the problem is that the plugin is bridging the first WP user rather than the last [or latest] user.

Thanks,
