Help With Website

I hosted my wordpress blog on freehostia.com and have it running, however, because the wordpress blow is on jayxla.com/wordpress, the homepage of my website has to redirect to this url. I want the homepage of the website to be jayxla.com/wordpress, not a meta tag redirecting the website.

If I cannot do this, does the redirection affect at all SEO?

In need of someone’s help please!!!
