Help with upgrade PLEASE

  • Good afternoon,

    I am having difficulty ‘automatically updating’ word press on my account. I am able to download the manual version, but I dont know how to manually install. When I try to automatically update it asks for my host name, login and password.. when I enter the information it says it has trouble connecting to the server.

    Basically I am trying to upload photos, videos, media to our posts.. however it wont upload any media to the library.. says trouble connecting to server. Our web guy suggested updating word press … I keep going in circles … please help with uploading media, or updating word press or all of the above. I appreciate it.
