Hi, I’ve updated the plugin from the old version (2.42.1) to the latest on a dev environment and although it’s copied all settings across, the map is not displaying correctly and I’m not sure why.

If you view the live site here, and then choose Cabin Hire from the dropdown, you’ll see how the map displays with all location pins etc.

By contrast, if you look at the same on our dev environment you’ll see how it’s not working properly.

Do you have any idea why this would be? I’ve checked the source code for the template as well as comparing plugin settings and I can’t see anything so far but may be missing something!

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

The version you upgraded from is almost 8 years old, and I don’t support it any more. But I did look at the page, and I see the error occurs because the first POI somehow has an invalid longitude of “-1.1647224,275”

If you have the old version, reinstall it and edit the map to either correct or delete that POI. If not, you can use the contact page on my site to send me an email, and I’ll try to find an old version of the plugin for you. You can also try editing the database table ‘mappress_maps’ directly – just be sure to make a backup first.

    Hi Chris,

Thanks so much – that worked!

    Cheers
