Help with sorting posts by rating.Looking for sorting widget similar to archives

Sorry for asking something that there are already threads about. I looked at a lot of them and still couldn’t find a solution.

Basically I want to be able to sort all of my posts by date, rating, and maybe view count. I would like to have a widget just like the archives widget to put in the sidebar. Instead of months it would have the different sorting options in the dropdown.

I tried some rating systems that looked good on my site but I couldn’t figure out how to sort them. I found GD Star Rating and installed that, but wasn’t able to get the ratings to show up on the front page.

Does anyone have a good sorting system in place?
Any help would be awesome.
